Market Sizing & Opportunity

Market sizing follows a top-down structure cross-checked against site economics. The total addressable market, the South African car wash and detailing market, runs to several billion rand and is growing steadily. The serviceable addressable market, comprising Gauteng premium wash, detailing and fleet demand that Car Sparkle Galaxy can realistically reach, is estimated at roughly R2.2 billion. The serviceable obtainable market, the company’s Year-5 revenue of R47 million, is a small share of that.

NoteDemand is not the binding constraint — throughput and rollout are

Because Year-5 revenue is a small share of the serviceable market, the binding constraint on growth is not demand but the company’s own execution, driving throughput and memberships at each site, winning fleet contracts, and building and ramping new company-owned and franchised locations. Market risk is therefore predominantly throughput, competition, rollout-execution and cost risk, addressed in Sections 8, 9 and 18.

Bottom-up cross-check — sites, throughput and members

The revenue reconciles bottom-up against capacity. The plan builds from a single flagship washing roughly 120 cars a day toward five company-owned sites handling around 560 cars a day, complemented by a subscription base growing from a few hundred to several thousand members, premium detailing, fleet contracts, mobile units and, from Phase III, franchise royalties. No single site or stream carries the plan: revenue is diversified across sites, service lines and recurring memberships and contracts.
