This business plan (the “Plan”) has been prepared by Ikhaya Broilers (Pty) Ltd (“Ikhaya” or the “Company”) to provide prospective funders, development finance institutions and investors with information about the Company and its proposed broiler production enterprise. It is illustrative and does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to purchase securities in any jurisdiction.

The Company’s production volumes, revenue, input costs, EBITDA, depreciation, interest and net profit are preserved as prepared by the directors. The senior debt amortisation schedule, debt-service coverage on three bases, per-kilogram economics, the feed conversion ratio implied by the modelled feed spend, break-even including debt service, capital adequacy and investor returns beneath those figures have been independently re-derived by the analyst and are presented in Sections 15 through 19.

Financial projections are forward-looking statements based on assumptions the directors consider reasonable at the date of preparation. Broiler production is a biological process exposed to disease, feed price volatility and market price cycles; actual results may differ materially. Production benchmarks, input costs and market prices are drawn from published industry sources and operator experience current to July 2026 and must be independently verified in due diligence.

This analysis identifies several matters bearing directly on the funding decision, principally the reconciliation of the headline cost per kilogram, the feed conversion ratio embedded in the model relative to both the Company’s own target and the national benchmark, the thinness of Year-1 coverage, and two capital items promised in the text but absent from the budget. These are set out plainly rather than smoothed, because an agricultural credit committee will test each of them.

NoteOn the figures in this plan

The Company’s model is well constructed in its mechanics. The senior debt service of R2.83 million reconciles precisely to R14.3 million amortised at 11.5% following a twelve-month capital moratorium; the stated debt-service cover ratios tie exactly to the stated EBITDA and debt service; the per-kilogram cost components in the cycle budget each reconcile to the annual projections; and Year-1 production assumptions are deliberately set below benchmark, a discipline many start-up agricultural plans lack. The findings that follow concern specific figures that cannot be reproduced, and two provisions that are described but not funded. Several of the Company’s assumptions are, on testing, conservative rather than optimistic, and those are identified as clearly as the gaps.
