PowerWorks Force Green Energy is raising ZAR 2.27 billion of project capital — structured as 75% senior debt and 25% sponsor equity — to develop, construct and operate a 100 MWac utility-scale solar photovoltaic power plant with 200 MWh of battery energy storage in the Prieska Renewable Energy Corridor, Northern Cape. The plant is designed to generate 295 GWh a year under 20-year contracted power purchase agreements, avoiding roughly 280,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Headline revenue and EBITDA are preserved exactly; everything below EBITDA is independently re-derived (component depreciation, full cash interest, 27% SA tax with assessed-loss relief, working capital) with the balance sheet tying to zero every year. This plan sets out the market sizing and offtake opportunity, competitive positioning, the project description and technology, the revenue and offtake strategy, operations and asset management, grid connection and transmission access, development and permitting, construction and EPC procurement, full financial projections, funding and capital structure, returns and sensitivities, the SWOT and investment thesis and an honest account of the key risks and independent findings. Use the contents below to navigate the plan.
