Africa Sunrise Experience Guest House is a startup business that will provide the ultimate African hospitality experience to its guests. The entity will be in the business of providing memorable experiences to both domestic and international tourists at reasonable rates. It will offer 16 en-suite air conditioned, relaxing and luxurious rooms. The guest house will be set up in the outskirts of Rustenburg in the North West Province (South Africa). This is a lucrative area for the business as it is in close proximity to key areas of attraction such as the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, The Royal Bafokeng Stadium and the magnificent Sun City.
Africa Sunrise Experience Guest House was founded by three ambitious, enthusiastic and dedicated entrepreneurs – Thato, Paul and David are the brainchild behind this exciting guest house. The guest house has not yet commenced operations. It is still in its preliminary stages. It is worth mentioning that the entrepreneurs have found key strategic members to partner with and that jointly, they have registered the entity as a private limited company, indentified a suitable location to base their business, studied the competition and assessed avenues of materializing the business.

There are guests that just want a room without all the ‘luxury extras’ that render accommodation to be expensive. Africa Sunrise Experience Guest House intends to explore this opportunity by providing budget accommodation solutions to domestic and foreign tourists as well as corporate clients. The business will form part of the vibrant hospitality industry of South Africa. The guest house will be located near key attractions such as Pilanesberg Nature Reserve and Sun City so as to attract clients and provide convenient accommodation to them.

The objectives of the guest house are as follows:
- In terms of finance, the objectives will be to attain a return on investment greater than 20%. Essentially it will be to maximize the return on the invested funds
- In terms of marketing, the guest house will strive for customer satisfaction at all times
- In terms of operations, maximizing value and occupancy levels will be of primary importance to the guest house
- In terms of human resources, learnership and development will be key – the business will inculcate a culture of thorough training in key areas such as hospitality, guest house/ hotel management, finance, costing and business management
The strategic objectives of the business will be growth, expansion and diversification oriented. As part of growth and expansion, the guest house will add on to the amenities and facilities of the guest house in the next five years. The provision of entertainment and tour package solutions will form part of the long term strategies of the guest house.
