2.2 Founders and Management Team
The founding team combines deep expertise in automotive sales, technology development, and financial management, providing the Company with the leadership capability required to execute its growth strategy.
Sipho Nkosi – Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mr Nkosi brings 12 years of experience in the South African automotive retail sector, having managed dealership operations for two of Gauteng’s leading multi-franchise motor groups. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). His industry relationships with key OEM brands, dealership networks, and the National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA) provide DriveHub with immediate market credibility and access.
Lauren Jacobs – Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Ms Jacobs is a seasoned technology leader with 10 years of experience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, and artificial intelligence. She previously served as Head of Engineering at a leading South African fintech company where she built scalable payment infrastructure serving over 2 million users. She holds a BSc in Computer Science (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town and a postgraduate certificate in Machine Learning from Stellenbosch University. Her technical leadership ensures DriveHub’s platform will be built to international standards of performance, security, and scalability.
Thabo Molefe – Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer
Mr Molefe is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with 8 years of experience in financial management, corporate finance, and strategic planning. He previously held positions at Deloitte Southern Africa and subsequently served as Finance Director at an online retail marketplace. His expertise in financial modelling, regulatory compliance, and investor relations ensures DriveHub maintains robust financial governance and reporting standards. He holds a BCom Accounting (Honours) from the University of Pretoria and completed his articles at Deloitte.

The Company’s Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI) includes standard anti-dilution protections, tag-along and drag-along rights, and a shareholders’ agreement governing decision-making authority, capital calls, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
