6.2 Detailed Equipment Schedule
The mechanisation plan includes two 150kW four-wheel-drive tractors for primary tillage and planting operations, a 6-row precision maize planter with GPS guidance, a self-propelled combine harvester, grain transport vehicles, and a complete irrigation system comprising centre-pivot units covering 300 hectares with supplementary drip irrigation on the remaining 100 hectares.
The grain storage infrastructure includes two 2,000-tonne steel silos with integrated aeration and temperature monitoring systems, a grain drying facility, and a weighbridge for accurate production measurement. These facilities will enable on-farm storage of the full annual harvest, providing flexibility in marketing timing and access to price premiums during off-season periods.
