Alexander Dlamini – Managing Director (40%)
Mr Dlamini is a seasoned hospitality entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in the South African and Southern African hospitality industry. He has successfully managed boutique lodges in Mpumalanga and the Western Cape, achieving consistent five-star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA). His operational expertise and deep understanding of the luxury travel segment make him ideally suited to lead the day-to-day management of Premier Luxury Lodge.
Michael van der Berg – Development Director (30%)
Mr van der Berg brings over 22 years of experience in commercial and residential property development across Gauteng. He has overseen the delivery of projects with a combined development value exceeding R500 million. His expertise will be instrumental during the construction and fit-out phases, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the exacting standards required for a five-star property.
Priya Naidoo – Investment Director (20%)
Ms Naidoo is a tourism and hospitality investor with a portfolio spanning boutique accommodation, eco-lodges, and adventure tourism across South Africa and Mozambique. She holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town and brings extensive experience in fundraising, investor relations, and strategic planning within the tourism sector.
Thabo Mokoena – Non-Executive Director (10%)
Mr Mokoena is a former executive at a major South African financial institution with expertise in corporate finance, risk management, and governance. He currently serves on the boards of two listed companies and will provide independent oversight of the Company’s financial management and governance framework.
2.3 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE)
Premier Luxury Lodge is committed to transformation and broad-based black economic empowerment in accordance with the Tourism Sector Code of Good Practice. The Company will target a minimum Level 4 B-BBEE contributor status within the first three years of operation through the following initiatives:
