12.1 Company Law
The Company will be incorporated and will operate in compliance with the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, including requirements relating to annual financial statements, director duties, shareholder rights, and CIPC filings.
12.2 Agricultural Regulations

Agricultural Product Standards Act (Act 119 of 1990): Compliance with egg grading and labelling standards

Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies and Stock Remedies Act (Act 36 of 1947): Compliance with feed standards and veterinary medicines regulations

12.3 Environmental Compliance
The Company will obtain all required environmental authorisations, including:

12.4 Tax and Employment
The Company will register for and comply with all tax obligations, including corporate income tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE), Skills Development Levy (SDL), and Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) contributions. Employment practices will comply with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, and Employment Equity Act.
12.5 Industry Memberships
GoldenNest will maintain membership in the South African Poultry Association (SAPA) and will participate in industry programmes related to biosecurity, animal welfare, and market development.
