  • National Water Act 36 of 1998 – Regulating water use and waste-water discharge.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 – Workplace safety for employees and end-users of sanitation facilities.

  • Construction Regulations, 2014 – Prescribing minimum sanitation facilities on construction sites.

  • Municipal By-Laws – eThekwini Municipality regulations on waste disposal, trade effluent, and business operations.

  • Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 – Governing service level agreements and client rights.

The company will appoint a dedicated HSE Officer and engage an external environmental compliance consultant to conduct quarterly audits. All waste disposal will be conducted through licensed facilities, and disposal certificates will be maintained for a minimum of five years.
