5.1 Product Portfolio

Pork Master Farms will offer a diversified product portfolio designed to maximise revenue across multiple market segments and production stages. The product mix has been structured to generate income from the earliest stages of the herd lifecycle while building towards full finishing capacity.

Weaner Pigs Piglets, 7-10 kg at weaning Finishing farms R650 – R850 per piglet
Breeding Stock Selected genetic quality Other pig farmers R4,500 – R8,000 per animal
Cull Sows and Boars End-of-productive-life animals Processors, abattoirs R1,800 – R2,500 per animal

5.2 Future Product Development (Phase 2)

Following the successful establishment and stabilisation of the core production operation, Pork Master Farms intends to pursue a Phase 2 expansion into value-added processing. This expansion, anticipated from Year 4 onwards, would include the establishment of an on-site processing facility for the production of branded pork products including fresh pork cuts, bacon, sausages, and other processed pork items. This vertical integration strategy would capture additional margin along the value chain and reduce dependence on third-party abattoir pricing.

5.3 Quality Assurance and Certification

All products will be produced in compliance with the standards established by the South African Meat Industry Company (SAMIC), SAPPO production guidelines, and applicable food safety regulations administered by the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD). The Company will pursue GLOBALG.A.P. certification for its production practices, which is increasingly required by major South African and international retailers.
