16.3 Phase 3: Maturity and Scale (Year 5+)

16.1 Phase 1: Establishment (Years 1-2)

  • Commission processing facility and achieve 120,000 litres/day throughput

  • Secure retail listings with at least three national supermarket chains

  • Establish brand recognition in the Western Cape and adjacent provinces

  • Achieve HACCP and ISO 22000 certification

  • Develop export channels into at least two SACU markets

16.2 Phase 2: Growth (Years 3-4)

  • Expand processing capacity to 280,000 litres/day through equipment additions

  • Launch value-added product lines including high-protein beverages and probiotic yoghurt

  • Pursue vertical integration through acquisition of one or two dairy farms

  • Expand export footprint to include Mozambique and potentially East African markets

  • Install 500 kWp solar PV to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint

16.3 Phase 3: Maturity and Scale (Year 5+)

  • Achieve 300,000 litres/day capacity at 90% utilisation

  • Evaluate infant nutrition and specialist dairy product categories

  • Consider establishment of a second processing facility in Gauteng or KwaZulu-Natal

  • Prepare for potential JSE listing or strategic trade sale to unlock shareholder value

  • Target B-BBEE Level 1 contributor status
