14.1 Employment & Community Impact

So Cool Juice Co. will create 85 direct jobs within 12 months, growing to 160+ by Year 5. The indirect employment multiplier in the agricultural and food processing value chain is estimated at 3.0x, supporting 255–480 indirect jobs among fruit farms, logistics providers, and packaging suppliers. The Company will implement a school juice programme donating 50,000 litres annually to identified schools in the Western Cape.

14.2 BBBEE Strategy

The Company targets Level 2 BBBEE Contributor status through minimum 30% black ownership, black representation at board and executive level, 3.5% of payroll invested in skills development, preferential procurement from BBBEE-compliant suppliers and enterprise development support for emerging black-owned fruit farms, and 1% of NPAT invested in socio-economic development initiatives.

14.3 Environmental Sustainability

Water recycling achieving 80%+ recovery rate. Rainwater harvesting for non-process use.
Solar PV installation targeting 50% self-generation by Year 5, reducing grid dependency and carbon footprint.
Zero-to-landfill target by Year 3 through composting of fruit waste and recycling of packaging materials.
100% recyclable packaging commitment across all product lines. Glass and PET formats with recycled content.
ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification targeted within 3 years.
