11.2 Phase Descriptions

Phase 1: Foundation (Months 1–3)

  • Company registration, legal structuring, and shareholder agreements finalised.

  • Secure office premises in Sandton and establish IT infrastructure.

  • Recruit core technology team (CTO, 4 software engineers, 1 UX designer).

  • Complete platform architecture design and technology stack selection.

  • Initiate partnerships with financial services and vehicle inspection providers.

  • Begin B-BBEE compliance structuring and Level 2 contributor application.

Phase 2: Build (Months 4–8)

  • Develop and test core platform: listing engine, search and filtering, user accounts.

  • Build dealer management portal and subscription billing system.

  • Develop AI recommendation engine MVP and vehicle verification integration.

  • Integrate payment gateway (PayFast/Peach Payments) for listing fees.

  • Recruit sales team and begin dealer pre-registration campaign.

  • Develop content library: buying guides, vehicle reviews, market reports.

  • Beta testing with 20–30 pilot dealers and 500 private listings.

Phase 3: Launch (Months 9–12)

  • Public platform launch in Gauteng market (Johannesburg, Pretoria).
