2.2 Founding Team & Management
The success of GoldenYield Agri is underpinned by a highly capable and experienced founding team, each bringing complementary skills critical to the success of a commercial farming enterprise in the South African context.
2.2.1 Sipho Dlamini – Chief Executive Officer (40% Shareholding)
Mr Dlamini is a seasoned agribusiness executive with over 20 years of experience in commercial farming operations and agricultural investment. He holds an MBA from the University of Pretoria and a B.Agric from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He previously served as General Manager of a 2,000-hectare commercial grain farm in the Free State and has extensive relationships with major grain buyers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
2.2.2 Marianne van Rooyen – Chief Operating Officer (35% Shareholding)
Ms van Rooyen is a qualified agronomist with 15 years of experience in precision farming, crop science, and farm operations management. She holds an M.Sc. in Agronomy from the University of Stellenbosch and has managed large-scale maize and soybean operations in North West Province. Her expertise in soil management, irrigation technology, and integrated pest management will be instrumental in achieving above-average yields.
2.2.3 Daniel Khumalo – Marketing & Supply Chain Director (15% Shareholding)
Mr Khumalo brings 10 years of experience in agricultural commodity trading, supply chain optimisation, and market development. He holds a B.Com in Supply Chain Management from the University of Johannesburg and has previously worked with major grain traders and milling companies, giving him deep insight into offtake arrangements, pricing mechanisms, and logistics optimisation.
2.3 Shareholding Structure
The shareholding structure has been designed to ensure strong B-BBEE credentials while maintaining alignment between management and investor interests. An Employee Share Trust holding 10% ensures broad-based participation by farm workers, supporting the Company’s transformation objectives.

2.4 Organisational Structure
The Company will maintain a lean organisational structure during the establishment phase, scaling headcount in line with operational requirements. The initial complement will comprise 15 permanent staff and up to 40 seasonal workers during planting and harvesting periods. Key positions include a Farm Manager, Irrigation Technician, Equipment Operator Supervisor, Financial Controller, and Administrative Assistant, reporting to the three founding directors.
