The product portfolio, the sales-mix evolution and the brand positioning underpinning Karoo Rabbit Protein’s products and brands.

The product strategy deliberately avoids whole-carcass selling — a
known barrier to mainstream adoption — in favour of familiar portioned
and value-added formats sold under a tiered brand architecture. Margin
and brand equity are built at the premium tier; volume and accessibility
are captured at the everyday tier.

Pricing reflects channel and value-add: the value-added line earns
the highest realisation per kilogram and is the strategic focus of the
mix shift over the plan period; export pricing is set conservatively at
a modest premium to frozen, recognising both the disease-free credential
and the early-stage nature of export channels. All prices escalate at
approximately 4.5% per year in the model, below the medium-term
inflation assumption for conservatism.

6.2 Sales-Mix Evolution

The mix is engineered to migrate from fresh/frozen toward value-added
and export as processing capability, brand equity and accreditation
mature. This is the principal lever lifting blended realisation over the
five years.

6.3 Brand Positioning

KarooLean™ (premium). Natural, lean, ethically
produced heritage protein for health-conscious, affluent consumers and
discerning food-service. Carries the margin and the brand story.

Pure Protein (everyday). Honest, affordable,
efficient protein for value-conscious households — the accessibility
tier that drives volume through the plant.

KRP Genetics (B2B). Improved, locally adapted
breeding stock for the grower network and third-party producers,
reinforcing KRP’s position at the top of the supply chain.
