Mission, vision and objectives
Vision
To become a leading independent animal-feed manufacturer in Southern Africa, recognised for quality, technical excellence, reliable supply and strong farmer relationships.
Mission
To provide commercially priced, scientifically formulated animal-nutrition products that measurably improve animal performance, productivity and farmer profitability, delivered with the responsiveness and technical partnership of an independent mill.
Strategic objectives
- Establish a modern, efficient 10 t/h feed mill and commission it to stable output within 18 months of mandate.
- Reach ~11,000 tonnes of sales in Year 1, underpinned by anchor offtake, and build toward ~26,000 tonnes by Year 5 through extended-hours operation.
- Build a recognised regional feed brand and a network of agricultural retailers and distributors.
- Develop private-label and custom-formulation capability as a margin-accretive differentiator.
- Establish disciplined procurement and credit-control systems as the twin determinants of survival and profitability.
- Create the platform for later capacity expansion, regional distribution and selective vertical integration.
Ownership, governance and management intent
The Company will be held by its promoters together with the equity investors introduced through this process. Given the equity-led funding structure, investors will hold a significant ownership position and are expected to require board representation, reserved matters and standard minority protections. A commercially reasonable target organisation, built around a general manager, operations, nutrition, procurement, sales and finance functions, is set out in the Management & Organisation section; specific appointments will be finalised as part of the funding and recruitment process.
