Product Portfolio
The product portfolio across standard and specialised ready-mix concrete mixes, aggregates and value-added products offered across the platform.
TitanCrete’s product range is engineered to serve the full spectrum
of demand — from large infrastructure pours to specialist architectural
and industrial applications. Breadth of mix design is a deliberate
competitive choice: it lets the company win technically demanding jobs
that commoditised independents cannot service, and it supports a blended
margin above a pure standard-mix operation.
7.1 Core and specialist mixes
| Product | Application | Strategic role |
|---|---|---|
| Standard structural concrete | General foundations, slabs, columns and infrastructure. | Volume base and framework-contract anchor. |
| Pump mix | High-rise, bridge decks and constrained sites requiring pumped placement. | Pulls through pumping-service revenue; higher margin. |
| Surface-bed concrete | Industrial floors, warehousing and logistics platforms. | Aligned to fast-growing logistics and warehousing demand. |
| Post-tension mix | Long-span slabs and structures requiring post-tensioning. | Technical differentiation; limited independent competition. |
| Self-levelling concrete | Precision floors and architectural finishes. | Premium, specification-led applications. |
| Trench-fill / foundation | Rapid foundation and trench works. | Service-speed differentiation on residential and civils. |
| Pool & decorative mix | Swimming pools and decorative installations. | Diversifies into private and residential demand. |
| Low-carbon mix | Projects with environmental specifications or DFI funding. | ESG differentiation; unlocks green-financed work. |
| Custom / engineered mix | Bespoke strength, durability or workability requirements. | Captures complex jobs at premium pricing. |

applications.
7.2 Quality and specification
All mixes are designed and tested against South African National
Standards (SANS) in a central, accredited laboratory, with cube testing,
slump control and admixture management applied consistently across
plants. Consistent, certified quality is the company’s principal answer
to the most expensive failure mode on a construction site — a rejected
or non-conforming pour — and is central to winning and retaining
framework contracts with blue-chip contractors and public clients.
7.3 Lower-carbon product strategy
Cement is carbon-intensive, and the company’s low-carbon range —
using extenders such as fly ash and slag, optimised mix design and, over
time, recycled aggregate — reduces embodied carbon per cubic metre while
meeting strength specifications. Beyond its environmental merit, this
range is commercially strategic: an expanding share of large projects,
particularly those financed by development institutions, now carry
environmental conditions that favour suppliers able to certify
lower-carbon materials.
focus
A nine-product catalogue is a competitive asset only if each mix can
be delivered reliably at scale. In the launch phase TitanCrete should
concentrate volume on standard, pump and surface-bed mixes — where
demand is deepest and quality control simplest — and introduce the more
specialised post-tension, self-levelling and low-carbon products as
laboratory capability and plant discipline mature. The roadmap in
Section 14 sequences this accordingly.
