House Blends
Two signature house blends will be developed in collaboration with a leading South African specialty roaster: a medium-roast blend optimised for espresso-based drinks (milk coffees, flat whites) and a lighter single-origin rotation for filter and pour-over preparations. All beans will carry a minimum SCA score of 82+.

-
Average food item: ZAR 85–ZAR 150
-

4.4 Retail & Ancillary Revenue
To diversify revenue streams and build brand equity beyond the café walls, Urban Bean Café will develop a retail programme including packaged house-blend coffee beans (250g and 1kg bags), branded merchandise (travel mugs, tote bags), a subscription coffee delivery service, and corporate gifting hampers during festive seasons.
