The halaal certification and the HACCP and food-safety management underpinning the food-safety systems.
Halaal integrity and food safety are inseparable from the Company’s
value proposition. They are the foundation of both the export premium
and domestic consumer trust.
17.1 Halaal certification
Slaughter and processing are configured for halaal compliance and
certified by a recognised certifying authority whose accreditation is
accepted in target export markets. Halaal compliance is maintained
through dedicated procedures, trained personnel, supervision and
auditable records integrated into the traceability system.
17.2 HACCP and food-safety management
A HACCP-based food-safety management system identifies and controls
hazards across the process, supported by prerequisite programmes
covering hygiene, sanitation, pest control, cold-chain integrity and
staff training. The system is independently audited and forms the
documentary backbone for both domestic grading and export approval.
