KarooPrime converts a single biological input — the goat — into a
diversified portfolio of products spanning value tiers and geographies.
This breadth stabilises revenue and lifts blended realisation per head
above the informal carcass benchmark.

5.2 Quality, traceability and certification
Every animal is tagged and tracked from intake through slaughter and
dispatch, creating farm-to-fork traceability that underpins both
food-safety compliance and premium positioning. The processing facility
is designed to Halaal (SANHA/NIHT), HACCP and ISO 22000 standards, with
export-establishment registration enabling access to regulated import
markets. Traceability is not merely compliance — it is a commercial
asset that retail and export buyers increasingly require and will pay
for.
Carcass sales provide volume and a liquid base market. Value-added retail and export cuts lift blended realisation and gross
margin. By-products convert what the informal trade discards into
incremental, near-pure-margin revenue.
