Daniel Mokoena – Chief Executive Officer
Daniel brings over 15 years of experience in agribusiness strategy and mergers & acquisitions. His career spans senior roles at leading South African agricultural conglomerates where he led operational turnarounds, capital raises, and export market development initiatives. He holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and a BSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Pretoria.
Aisha Naidoo – Chief Operating Officer
Aisha is a citrus production specialist with over 12 years of hands-on experience in commercial citrus farming in the Eastern Cape and Limpopo provinces. She has managed operations of up to 200 hectares, including orchard establishment, production optimisation, and export quality management. She holds an MSc in Horticulture from Stellenbosch University and is a certified GlobalG.A.P. assessor.
Pieter van der Westhuizen – Chief Financial Officer
Pieter is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with specialised expertise in agricultural finance. He previously served as Finance Director at a mid-tier citrus farming group where he managed financial reporting, treasury operations, and investor relations. He holds a BCom Honours in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed the SAICA Agricultural Finance Programme.
9.2 Advisory Board
An independent Advisory Board will be constituted to provide strategic guidance and industry connectivity. The Advisory Board will include an agricultural economist with expertise in South African agri-food policy, an international logistics and cold chain specialist, and an ESG and sustainability practitioner with experience in agricultural certification frameworks. Advisory Board members will be appointed within six months of project commencement.
9.3 Corporate Governance Framework
The Company will adopt a corporate governance framework aligned with the King IV Code on Corporate Governance. Key governance mechanisms include quarterly Board meetings with documented minutes and resolutions; annual independent financial audits conducted by a registered audit firm; a formal risk management framework with quarterly risk register reviews; conflict of interest declaration protocols; and whistleblower and ethics hotline for employees and stakeholders.
