12.1 South African Regulatory Requirements

12.3 B-BBEE Strategy

CAE is committed to achieving a minimum Level 2 B-BBEE contributor status within 24 months of commencement. The B-BBEE strategy encompasses majority black ownership (60% held by Thabo Mkhize), management control targets aligned with the dti’s Codes of Good Practice, skills development investment of 3% of payroll, enterprise and supplier development initiatives focusing on black-owned transport and logistics providers, and a socio-economic development contribution of 1.5% of net profit after tax.
