GreenPulse addresses these challenges head-on with a technology platform designed specifically for South African farming conditions, crop varieties, and market dynamics.

1.1 The Opportunity

The South African precision agriculture market is valued at approximately R22 billion and is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.8%. Despite this growth, technology adoption among commercial farmers remains below 18%, and among emerging farmers it is less than 3%. This adoption gap represents a significant market opportunity for a locally developed, affordable, and user-friendly solution.

1.2 Our Solution

GreenPulse offers an integrated precision farming platform comprising three core components:

• GreenPulse Cloud Platform: A SaaS-based farm management system with AI-driven crop analytics, weather forecasting, pest and disease early warning, and yield prediction capabilities. The platform supports Afrikaans, English, isiZulu, and Sesotho interfaces.

• GreenPulse Sensor Network: Proprietary IoT soil moisture, temperature, and nutrient sensors designed for South African conditions, including solar-powered units for off-grid operations. Hardware is manufactured in partnership with a Johannesburg-based electronics firm.

• GreenPulse Advisory: On-the-ground agricultural consulting and training services, delivered in partnership with the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) and provincial departments of agriculture.

1.3 Investment Proposition

GreenPulse is seeking R15 million in seed funding to accelerate product development, scale its go-to-market operations, and establish a dominant position in the South African AgriTech market. The investment will fund 18 months of operations, with a clear path to break-even by Month 22.
