  • Product: Complete MVP development, beta testing with 20 pilot farmers across Free State and Western Cape.

  • Team: Recruit core engineering team (6 developers, 2 data scientists), hire VP Sales and first 2 Account Executives.

  • Operations: Finalise manufacturing partnership, produce first batch of 200 sensor units, establish Azure cloud infrastructure.

  • Funding: Close seed round of R15 million.

13.2 Phase 2: Market Entry (Q3–Q4 2026)

  • Product: General availability launch. Release mobile apps (iOS/Android). Integrate satellite imagery pipeline.

  • Sales: Achieve first 100 paying customers. Launch at NAMPO Harvest Day and two regional shows.

  • Partnerships: Formalise ARC research agreement. Launch MTN IoT connectivity programme. Sign first cooperative partnership.

  • Product: Launch marketplace module. Introduce advanced AI features (yield prediction, variable-rate prescriptions). Release weather station hardware.

  • Sales: Scale to 380 customers. Expand into Mpumalanga and Limpopo. Launch emerging farmer programme.

  • Funding: Raise Series A of R40–60 million to fund national expansion and product development.

  • Operations: Open Bloemfontein regional hub. Achieve break-even.
