Products & Services

The product portfolio across personal and private banking, business and commercial banking, corporate and investment banking, and insurance and asset management, with the revenue attribution by product.

6.1 Product Portfolio Overview

OptimaBank’s product set is organised so that a customer can begin
with a free transactional account and progressively adopt savings,
credit, insurance and investment products — maximising lifetime value
while deepening engagement. The loan portfolio is deliberately
diversified across retail, SME, corporate and mortgage segments to
balance yield, risk and capital intensity.

As shown above, the book rebalances over time away from higher-risk
unsecured retail lending toward SME and corporate exposures, reflecting
the maturation of the franchise and a deliberate shift toward more
sustainable, relationship-based credit.

6.2 Personal & Private Banking

onboarding via the OptimaBank app and a national kiosk/agent

    and the public sector.

6.5 Insurance & Asset Management

    insurance distributed digitally.
  • Retirement and pension products addressing the low
    retirement-provision rate.
  • Unit trusts, exchange-traded products and discretionary
    investment management.

6.6 Product Summary & Revenue Attribution

The table below maps the principal products to their primary customer
segment, revenue type and relative capital intensity — illustrating how
the portfolio balances capital-intensive interest income with
capital-light fee income.

Product line Segment Revenue type Capital intensity
Transactional accounts Retail / SME Fee & float Low
Savings & deposits Retail / SME Net interest (funding) Low
Unsecured & card lending Retail Net interest + fee Medium–High
Home loans Retail Net interest Medium
SME working capital SME Net interest + fee Medium
Merchant & payments SME / Corporate Fee & interchange Low
Corporate & structured finance Corporate Net interest + fee High
Trade & commodity finance Corporate Fee + net interest Medium
Markets & treasury Corporate Trading & spread Medium
Insurance & wealth All Premium & fee Low

This deliberate balance is what differentiates OptimaBank from
single-product challengers: the low-capital transactional and fee
businesses fund customer acquisition and generate stable income, while
the lending and corporate businesses deploy the resulting deposit base
into attractive risk-adjusted returns.
