The founding team combines over 15 years of FMCG and food-manufacturing and ingredient-supply experience (Founder & CEO), food science, research, quality assurance and new-product development (Technical Director), sales, distribution, customer acquisition and strategic partnerships (Commercial Director), and corporate finance and governance (Independent Non-Executive Director). The team holds 100% of equity at the outset, aligning management and ownership, and the blend of commercial, technical-scientific, sales and finance skills maps directly onto a technical, service-led food-ingredients business.
The long-term ambition
The strategy is to build a trusted national brand through disciplined expansion, growing from a specialist seasoning manufacturer into a diversified food-solutions company offering ingredients, technical services, private-label manufacturing and regional exports. By Year 5 the Company aims to exceed R90 million in annual revenue at attractive margins, positioning itself for strategic partnerships, acquisitions or a future capital raise to accelerate expansion across Southern Africa. The R18 million seed round funds the commercial launch; the modelled Series A funds the scale-up.
