The documents every SEDFA applicant needs
Document What good looks like
CIPC registration certificate Current, with annual returns filed and up to date
SARS tax compliance status PIN Must be valid on the date of submission, not merely once issued
Certified ID copies All directors, members or shareholders
Six months of business bank statements Stamped or downloaded directly from the bank; must reconcile to your figures
Business plan With a market section that cites evidence, not adjectives
Financial projections Monthly for year one, annual thereafter, with stated assumptions
Proof of business address Lease agreement or utility account
B-BBEE affidavit or certificate An affidavit is sufficient for most EMEs
