Service Model

Recurring & deep clean

Standard recurring cleans, premium deep cleans (from R1,800 per visit) and add-on services, targeting around 450 recurring clients by Year 3.

5.1 Service Tiers

5.1.1 Essential Clean (R450/visit)

The Essential Clean is our entry-level recurring service, designed for clients who require regular maintenance cleaning on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The service typically takes 2–3 hours and covers general dusting and vacuuming of all rooms, kitchen surface cleaning and sanitisation, bathroom cleaning including toilets, basins, and showers, floor mopping throughout, bed making, and emptying of bins. This tier is ideal for young professionals in apartments and townhouses who need consistent upkeep between deeper cleans.

5.1.2 Premium Clean (R850/visit)

The Premium Clean is our most popular service tier, offering comprehensive cleaning for family homes. The service takes 4–5 hours and includes everything in the Essential Clean plus deep kitchen cleaning including oven and appliance exteriors, interior window washing, laundry and ironing (one load), detailed bathroom descaling and grout cleaning, skirting board and light fitting dusting, and furniture surface polishing. This is our flagship offering, recommended for busy families who want their home maintained to a consistently high standard.

5.1.3 Deep Clean (R1,800/visit)

The Deep Clean is a comprehensive, one-time or quarterly service designed for thorough property cleaning. Taking 6–8 hours, it includes full property deep clean of every room, carpet and upholstery spot treatment, appliance interior deep cleaning (oven, fridge, microwave), all windows (interior and exterior, ground floor), wall spot cleaning and mark removal, cupboard and drawer interior cleaning, and post-construction or move-in/move-out preparation. This tier is popular with short-term rental hosts, property managers, and clients preparing for special events or seasonal refreshes.

5.3 Pricing Strategy

SparkleClean SA’s pricing is positioned in the medium-to-premium range, above informal domestic workers and SweepSouth’s base rates, but below specialist franchise operators. This positioning reflects the value proposition of employed, insured, and trained staff using eco-friendly products with a satisfaction guarantee.

Recurring clients (weekly or bi-weekly bookings) receive a 10% discount on their per-visit rate, incentivising long-term commitments. A referral programme offers R150 credit to both the referrer and the new client on their first booking. Annual subscription packages offer a 15% discount for clients who commit to 48+ cleans per year.
