10.1 Implementation Timeline

The implementation of Springs Harvest Greenhouses will follow a structured 18-month timeline encompassing two phases. Phase 1 covers the initial 12 months from company registration through to first commercial harvest, with 10,000 sqm of greenhouse capacity. Phase 2, commencing in Month 13, adds a further 8,000 sqm of capacity to reach the full 18,000 sqm target.

10.3 Phase 2 Expansion (Months 13–18)

Phase 2 involves the construction and commissioning of an additional 8,000 sqm of greenhouse capacity, funded from a combination of retained earnings and Phase 2 capital expenditure of approximately R3.2 million. The expansion will focus on scaling pepper, cucumber, and leafy green production to meet growing demand from retail and export buyers. Phase 2 greenhouses are expected to achieve full production within 4–6 months of commissioning.
