11.1 Insurance Coverage
Comprehensive insurance coverage will be maintained to protect the business against catastrophic losses. The insurance programme will include commercial property insurance (building contents and equipment), business interruption insurance (12 months cover), public liability insurance (ZAR 10 million limit), employers’ liability insurance, product liability insurance, theft and fraud cover, and key person insurance on the General Manager and Head Chef. Estimated annual premium: ZAR 72,000–94,000 depending on claims history and risk profile.
