Implementation Roadmap

Jump to section

The programme runs across three phases over 84 months, sequenced so that a profitable, well-utilised flagship is established before multi-site expansion. The critical path runs through funding, premises and permits → fit-out and equipment installation → sustainable infrastructure → digital platform and staffing → flagship launch → consumer and commercial ramp → break-even-plus utilisation → app and delivery expansion → a proven, cash-generative flagship → multi-site rollout.

Analyst flagPremises, equipment, infrastructure and utilisation ramp are the critical-path items

Four dependencies gate the launch and ramp. First, securing the right high-visibility Potchefstroom premises. Second, installing and commissioning the substantial equipment and the sustainable infrastructure (solar, water recycling, backup power) that the model depends on. Third, standing up the digital platform, staffing and training. Fourth, and most important for returns, driving the utilisation ramp: converting consumer and commercial customers fast enough to fill the equipment. The roadmap sequences these carefully, because a capital-intensive laundry’s profitability depends on reaching healthy utilisation quickly on a largely fixed cost base.
