Operating model
FluxCap operates a lean, automation-first model from a single
Johannesburg head office. Headcount scales from approximately 85 at
launch to about 640 by FY2031 — a revenue-per-employee trajectory from
R1.1 million to R4.8 million — with growth concentrated in engineering,
data science, collections and compliance rather than manual processing,
which the platform is designed to eliminate.

Key operational processes
- Origination: fully automated for ~92% of applications; manual
review queue for edge cases with a 2-hour SLA. - Disbursement: real-time via rapid payments rails during banking
hours; batch EFT fallback; funds-out median target under 15 minutes from
approval. - Collections: pre-due reminders, payment-date optimisation,
DebiCheck mandates, behavioural segmentation of early arrears, and
regulated external-agency escalation beyond 90 days. - Treasury: daily cash-flow forecasting; facility drawdown
management against loan-pipeline forecasts; DSRA and covenant
monitoring; monthly funder reporting pack. - Quality & audit: three-lines-of-defence model with
independent internal audit from FY2028 and external audit from
inception.
