15.1 Environmental

  • Natural Grazing Systems: Rotational paddock management to prevent soil degradation and promote pasture regeneration.

  • Minimal Antibiotic Use: Prophylactic antibiotic use eliminated; therapeutic use only under veterinary supervision.

  • Waste Management: Poultry litter composted and sold as organic fertiliser, creating an additional revenue stream.

  • Water Management: Rainwater harvesting, borehole water monitoring, and water recycling for non-potable applications.

  • Renewable Energy: Solar PV installation planned for Phase 2 to reduce grid dependence and carbon footprint.

  • Rural Job Creation: Direct employment of 10 staff members, with indirect employment support for an additional 20–30 community members through the supply chain.
