3.1 The Company

Sireletso Protective Group (Pty) Ltd will be incorporated under the Companies Act 71 of 2008 and registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority as a security service provider. The name derives from the Setswana word for protection. The Company will be based in Sandton, within the corporate district that generates the majority of its addressable demand, with a 24-hour operations control room, a secure armoury and a training academy on or adjacent to the same premises.

Every operational employee will be individually registered with PSIRA at the appropriate grade, hold a valid firearm competency certificate under the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 where armed deployment is required, and hold a current accredited close protection qualification. This is a legal requirement rather than a differentiator, but the industry’s compliance record is uneven enough that consistent adherence is, in practice, a commercial position.

3.2 Operating principles

• No officer is deployed on a protective detail without current PSIRA registration, firearm competency where armed, a valid close protection qualification, and a first aid certification at no less than Level 2.
• Every dedicated detail operates against a written threat and vulnerability assessment, refreshed at defined intervals and after any material change in the principal’s risk profile.
• All movements are supported by journey management planning and live control room monitoring, with a defined escalation matrix for each principal.
• No principal is accepted without a documented risk assessment and a signed service agreement specifying the scope, the escalation path and the limits of the Company’s undertaking.
• Officer rotation is planned so that no member of a dedicated detail works beyond defined fatigue limits, which is why a 24-hour principal consumes four to five officers rather than three.
