Forming bottles immediately before filling, rather than buying pre-formed empties, removes the cost and contamination risk of transporting air. For a plant 165 km from port and remote from packaging suppliers, that is not a detail, empty PET bottles are bulky and expensive to move, and every truckload avoided is margin retained. It also eliminates a contamination pathway in a product whose entire premium rests on purity. The Company’s chief operating officer has commissioned two PET lines and a glass line, which is the relevant experience for making this configuration work from first production rather than after a year of learning.
5.3 Volume against capacity
Year-2 volume of 11.4 million litres sits within the 14 million litre Series A capacity, and Year-3 volume of 19.5 million litres requires the Series B uplift. The capacity headroom is therefore thin precisely at the point Series B is being raised, Year 2 runs at roughly 81% of installed capacity. That is efficient use of the asset, but it leaves little room to absorb a delay in Series B without either constraining growth or committing capital ahead of the round.
