The Clinical Service Model

LumaVida delivers care across five clinical centres plus a digital-and-membership platform, together covering the entire female healthcare lifecycle. Each centre both serves a distinct clinical need and cross-refers within the LumaVida ecosystem, a fertility patient becomes a maternity patient, a maternity patient a gynaecology and later a longevity patient, so that the Group owns the relationship across decades. The profiles below set out each centre’s role and contribution.

CENTRE 1 Obstetrics Centre

MotherPath™ — the pregnancy journey

The Obstetrics Centre delivers the LumaVida MotherPath™ pregnancy-care programme: pre-conception counselling, pregnancy confirmation, ultrasound scanning, high-risk pregnancy and diabetes-in-pregnancy management, hypertension monitoring, antenatal education, birth planning and postpartum recovery. Deliveries are performed in partner private hospitals. Maternity is the emotional heart of the brand and a powerful entry point into the LumaVida lifecycle, a positive pregnancy experience anchors a decades-long patient relationship.

  • Programme: MotherPath™ — pre-conception through pregnancy, birth planning and postpartum.

CENTRE 2 Gynaecology Centre

General & advanced women’s health

The Gynaecology Centre spans general women’s health, annual wellness examinations, Pap smears, HPV screening, and menstrual and hormonal disorders, and advanced gynaecology, including endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic-pain management and minimally invasive surgery (performed in partner hospitals). This is the highest-volume clinical centre and the backbone of the consultation and screening revenue.

  • Services: wellness exams, Pap/HPV screening, endometriosis, fibroids, minimally invasive surgery.

CENTRE 3 Fertility & Reproductive Medicine

LumaVida Fertility+

LumaVida Fertility+ offers fertility assessment, ovulation management, IVF through laboratory partnerships, egg preservation, male-fertility referrals and genetic counselling. Fertility is a high-value, fast-growing and severely under-served market, only 10–13% of South Africa’s assisted-reproduction need is met, but it is also the most specialist-constrained service, dependent on scarce reproductive-medicine subspecialists and embryology partnerships. It is a strategic differentiator, pursued through partnership to manage the supply constraint.

CENTRE 4 Women’s Longevity Clinic

LumaVida 35+ Programme

The Women’s Longevity Clinic, the LumaVida 35+ Programme, is a unique differentiator focused on menopause management, bone health, cardiovascular risk, hormonal optimisation, nutrition and lifestyle medicine. It extends the patient relationship well beyond the reproductive years into healthy ageing, capturing a large and under-served demographic of women aged 35 and over, and adding preventive, subscription-friendly revenue that is less cyclical than maternity.

  • Focus: menopause, bone & cardiovascular health, hormonal optimisation, lifestyle medicine.

CENTRE 5 Gynae Oncology Programme

Screening & early detection

The Gynae Oncology Programme provides cancer screening, early detection and referral pathways, with surgical oncology delivered through partnerships. Cervical, ovarian and breast-adjacent screening is a critical preventive-health service and a natural extension of the gynaecology and wellness offering. Delivered through a partnership model, it deepens LumaVida’s clinical credibility and its role across the full spectrum of women’s health.

  • Model: screening, early detection, referral and surgical-oncology partnerships.

CENTRE 6 Digital & Membership Platform

LumaVida App & Wellness Membership

Cutting across every centre is the LumaVida digital platform, the App (pregnancy tracker, booking, records, AI health assistant, nutrition, specialist messaging) and the Women’s Wellness Membership. At R299 a month, the membership bundles annual screening, online consultations, health tracking and priority appointments, targeting 10,000 members nationally. It is the Group’s recurring-revenue engine and its most powerful acquisition-and-retention tool, though reaching 10,000 members is an ambitious target central to the plan.
