ReclaimHub’s customer acquisition is driven by location, trust and
price, reinforced by a digital layer. Stores are sited where
liquidity-stressed demand concentrates — CBDs, township high streets,
transport nodes and mall fringes — and the brand is built on the
transparency that informal operators cannot match.

13.1 Acquisition and retention

  • Location-led footfall. High-visibility siting in
    high-traffic, high-need corridors.
  • Trust and transparency. NCA-compliant,
    clearly-priced lending and graded, warrantied refurbished
    goods.
  • Digital layer. The mobile app and online
    marketplace drive listings, valuations and in-store pickup, widening the
    funnel beyond walk-in.
  • Loyalty and repeat cycles. Pawn customers are
    inherently repeat customers; the app and loan-management tools retain
    them across cycles.

13.2 Customer economics

The economics of acquisition are favourable because the store itself
is the primary acquisition channel — walk-in footfall driven by location
and need — keeping paid customer-acquisition cost low relative to
lifetime value. A pawn customer transacting across multiple 30–90 day
cycles, and cross-shopping the retail floor, generates repeated revenue
from a single low-cost acquisition. The digital layer extends reach
without proportionate cost, and refurbished-goods buyers convert intake
customers into retail customers within the same visit.
