Training & Development

Staff training is a cornerstone of the CrystalClean value proposition. All cleaning personnel will undergo a structured induction and ongoing training programme:

  • Week 1: Company induction, values, brand standards, and customer service

  • Week 2: Chemical handling safety (MSDS training), PPE usage, and OHS compliance

  • Week 3: Practical cleaning techniques — surface types, equipment operation, and sequencing

  • Week 4: Site-specific training and buddy system (paired with experienced staff)

  • Ongoing: Monthly safety toolbox talks; quarterly quality refreshers

Training costs are budgeted at ZAR 80,000 in Year 1 and ZAR 50,000 per annum thereafter. The company will explore SETA (Services SETA) funding to partially offset training expenditure.
