7.1 Executive Team
Mr. Themba Nkosi – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nkosi brings 15 years of experience in logistics and freight management, having held senior operational roles at Imperial Logistics and Barloworld Transport. He holds a BCom (Logistics) from the University of Johannesburg and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. Mr. Nkosi has extensive knowledge of cross-border trade corridors in Southern Africa and has managed fleets of up to 150 vehicles.
Ms. Aisha Madiba – Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Madiba has 12 years of operations and cross-border transport expertise, including managing cross-border operations for a mid-tier logistics company serving the SADC region. She holds a BSc (Supply Chain Management) from the University of Pretoria and is a certified supply chain professional (CSCP). Ms. Madiba’s expertise in border post operations, customs compliance, and cold-chain logistics is central to TransKora’s operational strategy.
Mr. Sipho van der Merwe – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. van der Merwe is a former Big 4 audit partner with 20 years of financial management experience. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and holds a postgraduate diploma in financial management from the University of Cape Town. Mr. van der Merwe’s expertise in corporate finance, project finance structuring, and regulatory compliance will be critical in managing TransKora’s capital structure and investor relations.
Ms. Fatuma Kileo – Head of Tanzania Operations
Ms. Kileo brings 10 years of regional logistics and customs experience in East Africa, having worked with the Tanzania Revenue Authority and a Dar es Salaam-based freight forwarding company. She holds a degree in International Trade from the University of Dar es Salaam and is fluent in Swahili, English, and French. Ms. Kileo will lead client engagement, customs liaison, and operational coordination in Tanzania.

TransKora will adopt a lean organisational structure in the initial phase, with progressive headcount expansion as operations scale. The projected staffing plan is as follows:
