Value Proposition & Competitive Differentiators

TransKora’s value proposition is built on four strategic pillars that collectively differentiate the Company from existing market participants:

Target IRR
18–20%

On the high-growth South Africa–Tanzania freight corridor, with intra-regional trade growing 8–10% per annum.

TransKora’s value proposition is built on four strategic pillars that collectively differentiate the Company from existing market participants:

4.1 Cross-Border Expertise

TransKora’s management team brings comprehensive knowledge of the South Africa–Tanzania trade corridor, including customs procedures, regulatory requirements, border post dynamics, and transit country regulations. The Company will maintain dedicated customs liaison officers at Beitbridge (Zimbabwe border), Lebombo/Ressano Garcia (Mozambique border), and Kasumulu/Tunduma (Tanzania border), ensuring seamless documentation processing and minimising costly border delays.

4.2 Fleet Reliability & Technology

The Company will deploy a fleet of modern, well-maintained heavy-duty trucks equipped with GPS tracking, telematics, real-time temperature monitoring (for refrigerated units), and driver behaviour analytics. This technology investment enables:

  • Real-time cargo visibility for clients via a secure web portal and mobile application.

  • Proactive route optimisation to minimise transit times and fuel consumption.

  • Predictive maintenance scheduling to maximise fleet uptime and reduce breakdown-related delays.

  • Evidence-based driver performance management, improving safety outcomes and reducing insurance costs.

4.3 Customer-Centric Solutions

TransKora will adopt a consultative approach to client engagement, offering tailored logistics solutions rather than one-size-fits-all freight services. Key elements include dedicated account management for contract clients, flexible scheduling for LTL customers, and customised reporting on delivery performance, transit times, and cost efficiency.

4.4 Safety, Sustainability & ESG

The Company is committed to operating in accordance with the highest safety and environmental standards, including compliance with the National Road Traffic Act, SANS 1395 (heavy commercial vehicle safety), and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. TransKora’s ESG framework includes fuel-efficient fleet specifications, carbon footprint monitoring and reduction targets, local employment creation, and transparent governance practices aligned with the King IV Report on Corporate Governance.
